The Main Event (1988) is one of the most incredible nights in the history of professional wrestling. I was a sophomore in high school and couldn’t wait to watch wrestling in prime time. We were getting a rematch from WrestleMania III for free. What more could a fan ask for? It turns out it was a night that set the wheels in motion for the next 14 months or more.

My friend Brian was with me and was the videographer as we interviewed legends in the pro wrestling business. Bobby ‘The Brain’ Heenan, Ray Traylor, Buff Bagwell, and a young upstart Goldberg were all our guests.

The My 1-2-3 Cents/Stride Pro Wrestling Action Figure Drive is back! We are entering our fifth year of collecting wrestling figures and wrestling-related toys for the Toys for Tots program. Here in southern Illinois, more than 15,000 toys were donated last year. We were able to contribute more than 250 wrestling figures to that total.
