People who know me, know that right behind my love for pro wrestling is a love for socks. That love became even more pronounced a few years ago when I discovered a company called Odd Sox.

Over the past couple of years, I’ve weeded out all of my ‘normal’ socks and have nothing but usually designed footwear, including many of the WWE Superstars in the Odd Sox collection. I’ve made a lot of friends over the years thanks to professional wrestling. One of them is Ryan Boman. But he’s not your average wrestling fan. Ryan has created a website called The Gorilla Position and is telling the stories of pro wrestling’s storytellers.

From there Ryan and his team developed Pinned.Biz which works to help market the men and women in the world of pro wrestling. I love the concept of both of his websites and we talk all about the idea behind them both in this week’s podcast.

Ryan also shares some thoughts on the landscape of today’s pro wrestling scene; including the creation of All Elite Wrestling. Plus, he was in Nashville recently covering Impact Wrestling’s Homecoming event. Give it a listen and check him out on social media too (@RyanKBoman & @GWPWeb on Twitter).

The future…

This week’s show is probably a bit more ‘gloom and doom’ than I intended it to be. I’ve just been doing a lot of self-reflection on and looking at the areas of my branding that are working and not working. I’ve become complacent with the podcast and for that, I apologize.

What’s next? What do you want to hear on the My 1-2-3 Cents podcast? I don’t want people to listen out of loyalty. I want listeners who look forward to a new episode dropping each week. Be honest in your comments.
