It’s hard to believe, but 25 years ago this week, I attended my first and only WCW Thunder event. My friend Brian was with me and was the videographer as we interviewed legends in the pro wrestling business. Bobby ‘The Brain’ Heenan, Ray Traylor, Buff Bagwell, and a young upstart Goldberg were all our guests.

The Goldberg interview is lost somewhere, somehow. However,  the other three are at the end of this week’s podcast.

WrestleMania has been a staple not just in pro wrestling but pop culture for 35 years now. I’m proud to say I was around for the first one and have enjoyed the event each year since 1985. That includes the very unique version of WrestleMania 36, held over two nights and in an empty arena.

However, there are some moments in WrestleMania history that fans like to rewrite. That’s the inspiration for an annual tradition I’ve got going here, called WrestleMania Redo. This week Tyler ‘Heath’ Hatton of Stride Pro Wrestling and I talk about a couple of WrestleMania matches that we would rebook.

Stride Pro Wrestling heads to the Saline County Fairgrounds on Saturday, March 14 for Strideiversary. It’s the four-year anniversary for Stride. Owner  Tyler ‘Heath’ Hatton joins me on this week’s 2 is Greater than 1 to talk more about the company.

We also offer up our thoughts on Goldberg winning the WWE Universal Champion, John Cena’s return to WrestleMania and the future of ‘The Fiend’ Bray Wyatt.

Wow. What a night of wrestling. WrestleMania 33 is in the books. Roman Reigns did what he said he was going to do and beat the Undertaker. It appears this may be it for the Deadman. Look for much more on the Undertaker’s career on the My 1-2-3 Cents blog this week.

There are also several new champions in the WWE. Naomi, Brock Lesnar, Kevin Owens, Randy Orton and The Hardy Boyz (yes you read that right) all have gold once again.

The fallout from Mania will be great to follow on Raw and SmackDown Live this week. Be sure to rate and review the podcast as well. Thanks for listening.
