My 1-2-3 Cents Episode 147: Stride Pro Wrestling ‘September Fallout’

Stride Pro Wrestling recap

Wow. What a night for Stride Pro Wrestling. September Fallout is in the books and was one of the most chaotic cards in the history of Stride. Unfortunately, I also became a part of that chaos. You can hear more about it in this week’s show.

This episode is a recap of everything that happened and a look ahead to the upcoming show on Friday, Oct. 6 in Pinckneyville. Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat will be the guest that night. Also, Stride returns a week later on Saturday, Oct. 14. We’ll countdown to both shows right here on the podcast.

My 1-2-3 Cents Episode 70: Shake, Rattle and Roll

FEH8H3dx

The greatest Intercontinental Champion of all time is taking the show on the road.  The Honky Tonk Man has a new interactive show called Shake, Rattle and Roll.  He’s making a stop in Effingham, Illinois on Thursday, March 24 at the Effingham Performance Center.  The show starts at 7 p.m. and you can learn more details here.

I met HTM for the first time in 1997.  He’s the first wrestler I’ve met, so this interview is particularly important to me.  We discuss the upcoming show, and his life in the ring in the WWF in the late 1980s.  He and “Macho Man” Randy Savage main evented several house shows in that era.  The Honky Tonk Man is on Twitter as @OfficialHTM and he has a Facebook page.

Also coming up this week on the My 1-2-3 Cents blog, Chad and I run down our own MVPs of WrestleMania.  Don’t forget to check out @my123cents on Twitter and Instagram.  Like the Facebook page and subscribe to the YouTube channel.

Princess Kimber Lee

Chikara Pro has a new Grand Champion.  In December 2015 at the season 15 finale, Princess Kimber Lee won the championship from Hallowicked.  Kevin and the Princess discuss her victory and what lead up to that moment.  The two also talk about what the future holds for the new champ as season 16 of Chikara begins January 30.

The two also discuss the role of women in wrestling and how it’s evolving as well as the development of inter-gender matches in the business. Find out who influenced Kimber Lee during childhood and who she’d like to defend the Grand Championship against.  We do know her first opponent will be Oleg the Usurper on January 30 at the season 16 premiere 5 Senses.  That show is happening at the Wrestle Factory in Philadelphia.  Best of luck to the Princess in her first title defense.

You can follow Princess Kimber Lee on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.  And don’t forget to check out the My 1-2-3 Cents blog, YouTube channel, Twitter and Facebook pages.

Happy 2016!
