I’m on vacation this week, so I’ve reached out to listeners for a few questions. In addition to that, I’m sharing a few thoughts on other things going on in the world of pro wrestling, including JR’s recent gaffe and the death of Del Wilkes.

My 1-2-3 Cents Episode 288: Wrestling with the 90s

May 27, 1996 is a day that will live in wrestling infamy. It’s the day Scott Hall, known by fans at the time as Razor Ramon, showed up on WCW Nitro. It was significant because Hall had been with WWF for four years and showing up on the competition’s program and declaring war with them made it look like WWF had sent him.

We’d later learn this was the seed planting fo the nWo and one of the greatest angles in the history of wrestling. My co-host Chad Smart and I dissect the period leading up to Hall’s jump and do some ‘what if’ scenarios along the way.
