Forget the Summer of Punk, this week it’s all about the Summer of Kevin and a look back at the awesomeness of 2011. The My 1-2-3 Cents brand was in its infancy but was really starting to take off, with interviews featuring D’Lo Brown, Mickie James, Lex Luger, and Nikita Koloff. I was also getting very involved in AAPW and got to manage Velvet Sky for the night. Somehow, I forgot to mention the fact that I met Hacksaw Jim Duggan that summer, too, my bad.

The Interview this month is a flashback to 2011 when I sat down with then TNA Knockouts Champion Mickie James. It’s all come full circle as James is the current Impact Wrestling Women’s Champion and is set to appear in the 2022 Royal Rumble later this month. I thought it would be a great time to share our conversation and add My 1-2-3 Cents to what’s currently happening.
