It’s Survivor Series season and this week Chad Smart from the Positive Cynicism Podcasting Network joins me to talk more about the annual event. But we also assemble our own teams. Each of us came up with a team of five past survivors from Survivor Series and it’s up to you to pick who has the best team. Let us know in the comments!

Last year I introduced listeners to my friend, Lane Austin. At that time he was Stride Pro Wrestling’s senior official. Many times, he was the only referee on hand.

But Lane has had some health issues and that ended in a double organ transplant. For the first time since the surgery, Lane and I sat down and talked about how he’s doing, his love for wrestling and why he enjoys being a ref. Check it out!

Wow, what a show! Strideiversary (the 3 year anniversary show for Stride Pro Wrestling) is in the books and proved to be the best show the company has put on. That’s not Tony Schiavone hype, it’s the truth. I’m happy to have been a small part of the evening. You can hear a recap of all the action on this week’s show.

I also have a clip from the Honky Tonk Man as part of this week’s episode. He of course is going to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame soon. I interviewed HTM back in 2016. You can find the whole episode here.

Indy wrestling has become a big part of my life over the past three years. I’ve been the ring announcer for Stride Pro Wrestling since March 2016. You’ve heard from several Stride wrestlers on this podcast.

Chris Hargas has worked hard on the indy scene for the past 15 years. He recently won the SICW heavyweight championship and is a mainstay in three other independent wrestling companies. Hargas wrestles for Stride Pro Wrestling, IWA Productions and USA Championship Wrestling.

We talk more about his training, his work in the ring and why he gets into the squared circle week in and week out. Check out his website and watch some of his matches around the country. Chris is a great performer in the ring and a heck of a guy outside of it.
